Join us as we share treasured traditions of the Puyallup culture with you in this one-of-a-kind free family-friendly event!

SONG & DANCE: You will learn songs and dance for Opening & Closing Ceremonies

STORYTELLING: You will hear Puyallup Stories from Chris Biden

LANGUAGE: You will learn to pronounce Lushootseed Phrases correctly

WEAVING: Cedar Basket Weaving with Peggy McCloud and Cedar Headband Weaving

BEADING: Teresa Harding will teach students to make a Bead Necklace

TRADITIONAL TEA & MEDICINE: You will make a Cottonwood soothing skin salve

A delicious indigenous lunch of Stew and Fry Bread is included.
