Our sister city in the Philippines struck by several earthquakes

The Sister City community is deeply saddened to learn of the devastation in Davao City, the regional capital of 1.6 million people, following several big earthquakes with a magnitude of 6.5 and 6.6. The earthquakes caused significant damage to the people who live in the region, and the civil defense officials reported that 10 schools and more than 1,200 homes were destroyed by the quake, and more than 500 schools and 5,000 homes sustained some damage. Our deepest sympathies go out to each & everyone who has been touched by this disaster and to all who are suffering during this tragic time. We can only imagine what you must be going through.
