Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant Puyallup culture at our “Experience the Puyallup Way Event” on November 11, 2023, at 11:00am SONG & DANCE: You will learn songs and dance for Opening & Closing Ceremonies STORYTELLING: You will hear Puyallup Stories from Chris Biden LANGUAGE: You will learn to pronounce Lushootseed Phrases correctly WEAVING : Cedar Basket Weaving with Peggy McCloud and Cedar Headband Weaving BEADING: Teresa Harding will teach students to make a Bead Necklace TRADITIONAL TEA & MEDICINE: You will make a Cottonwood soothing skin salve A delicious indigenous lunch of Stew and Fry Bread is included.
