Tacoma Sister Cities Council and its Tacoma-El Jadida, Morocco committee Statement on the Islamic Center of Tacoma Arson
Tacoma Sister Cities is appalled and saddened over the arson and damage at the Islamic Center of Tacoma this week. We stand united and in solidarity with our Muslim neighbors and offer our friendship and support. Sister Cities promotes peace through understanding. We strive to end hate and bigotry. Please help us to support our Tacoma Islamic community during this time of great uncertainty (donation form below).
We stand against this and other forms of targeting toward people who are, or are perceived to be, of Muslim background and stand with our neighbors and family members who celebrate their rich faith and culture.
Thank you.

Tacoma-El Jadida Committee Chair
